Kristen Davis, Executive Director
Born and raised in Tennessee, Kristen Davis grew up surrounded by the rich history of Civil War battles and hospitals. Her passion for history began at a young age, fueled by a deep curiosity about the resilience and ingenuity of those who came before her.
With a lifelong dedication to service, Kristen has been actively involved in the nonprofit sector since childhood. She has served on numerous boards and committees, volunteered with countless organizations, and worked as the Program Director of a national nonprofit organization, where she played a key role in advancing its mission and initiatives.
In 2021, Kristen and her family relocated to Fort Collins, Colorado, embracing a new chapter in both their personal and professional lives. She joined Poudre Landmarks in October 2024, bringing with her a unique combination of historical appreciation and extensive nonprofit leadership. Kristen’s passion for preserving and sharing history, combined with her strategic vision and expertise, makes her a valuable leader in shaping the future of Poudre Landmarks.
Chris Ashby, Marketing and Communications
An east coast transplant, Chris was born in Bronxville, NY and moved seven times before completing high school at the American School in Japan in Tokyo. He is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Graphic Design. After years in the advertising industry, he settled as the director of Marketing and Communications for the Champlain Valley Exposition, Vermont’s largest event facility. His tenure there developed his passion for non-profit work and serving the community. He relocated to Colorado to be the executive director of the Ranch event complex in Loveland where he led the facility through a master-plan development process and through emergency development during Covid and the 2020 wildfires. His passion for sharing the stories of organizations and looking for ways to develop partnerships with the community brought him to Poudre Landmarks, where he is looking forward to helping the organization move forward into new opportunities.
