Phyllis Ubico, expert conservation seamstress and longtime volunteer; Tessa Beaty, CSU history major researching pieces in the PLF Historic Costume Collection for her Senior Honors thesis; and Kimberly Miller, Chair of the Avery House Historic Costume Collection & VP of the PLF Board examine Phyllis' conservation work on the c 1846 silk gown which was donated by Elizabeth Dyer (of Denver) as part of the Dyer Collection which will be the subject of our first post-COVID exhibit in the Avery House.

Associate Professor of Costume Design Anne Medlock of West Texas A&M was on-site at the Avery House in July of 2017, examining samples from Poudre Landmarks Foundation’s historic costume collection.
