- Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, 7:00–8:30 pm, The Coloradoan, 1300 Riverside Ave.
- Introduction and Overview by Pat Nelson
- Panel: Barbara Fleming, Robin Stitzel, Bill Whitley
Houses change over time, and the older the house, the more likely it is that something has been done to change its character or function. Open porches are enclosed, and kitchens are remodeled, enlarged, or moved entirely. Windows and doors are often removed or replaced. What clues should you look for to determine a previous layout or function? How did older homes offer comfort during very hot or very cold weather? Learn all this and more during our fourth annual architecture presentation and discussion!
