On tour day, please present your Eventbrite receipt at the Avery House (328 W. Mountain Ave.) or at the Markley House (802 Peterson) to receive your ticket booklet, which has a tour map.

The tour is self-guided, and at each location, there are knowledgeable docents who will guide you through the home or building at your own pace. You can tour the locations in any order.

Additional tickets may be purchased at any tour venue on tour day for $30.

Parking & Transportation

• Parking is very limited, so we suggest you consider riding the trolley when traveling between the Avery House, The Anderson House at 1100 W. Oak St, and possibly the Wing Home at 1217 Sycamore St.

• Properties may be visited in any order. Parking near Tour homes is very limited. Carpooling and bicycling is encouraged. The Mountain Avenue Trolley will be free to Tour ticket holders from Noon - 5 on tour day. Please consider riding the Trolley when traveling between the Avery House, Tour House #5, and possibly House #8.

• Historic Homes Tour ticket holders may ride the Municipal Railway Trolley free on tour day, noon to 5 pm. The trolley runs up and down Mountain Ave. PLF extends our thanks to the Fort Collins Municipal Railway Society for this courtesy.

This year we are pleased to include the Northern Colorado Plein Air Painters in the tour. For the first time, area artists will be painting "En Plein Air" at each historic home. Artist will render open-air original artwork of the tour, the homes, and the environment for the duration of the event. These original works and previously created studio and Plein Air paintings will be available for purchase at a special pop-up gallery at the Avery Carriage House, 108 N. Meldrum St., Fort Collins 80521. The gallery and sale will operate from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the day of the tour. Historic Homes Tour Guests are encouraged to attend, but the public and interested buyers and the press need not be ticket holders to do so.

Local artists featured in this collaborative event include Kevin Aldrich, Marilynn Brandenburger, Jenifer Cline, Andrea Gabel, Nelia Harper, Victoria Lisi, and Dewain Stoll. A 2019 calendar of collected art works will also be for sale at each tour stop, and features additional work by local artists Carl Judson and Pam Furumo. Sales of the calendar benefit the non-profit Poudre Landmarks Foundation.
