As the days of summer begin to fade, autumn arrives at the 1883 Fort Collins Water Works. Music at the Water Works series, featuring Liz Barnez. Fundraiser for Poudre Landmarks Foundation.
Poudre Landmarks Foundation is pleased to announce the inaugural concert in our Music at The 1883 Water Works series, featuring local musician and legend, the incomparable Liz Barnez. Liz was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and grew up inspired by jazz, blues, folk, gospel, R&B, Dixieland, funk, and parade music. She embraced the diversity of her musical and creative upbringing and transformed those into her own eclectic style of music. Liz started her musical career in the clubs and festivals in her hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. She moved to Colorado in the late 1980's and has been a mainstay in that music community since then. She has been voted "Best Singer-Songwriter Female" in the FoCoMA Peer Awards 2020 and has received the FoCoMA Lifetime Achievement Award.
EVENT DETAILS: This is an outdoor show. Please bring your own chairs! Tours of the Historic 1883 Water Works are available from 1pm - 3pm for ticket holders. The Boy Scouts will be grilling hot dogs which will be available for purchase alongside chips and drinks. Tickets may not be purchased on site. Tickets may only be purchased through the eventbrite link.

3:00-5:00 p.m. Liz Barnez performing - Bring your chair, get comfortable on the grass near the apple orchard, and enjoy this intimate gathering.
Support our local Laporte Boy Scout Troop 87. They will be manning the grill cooking up burgers and hot dogs.
Please – no furry friends due to the wildlife that share this 23-acre site.
